Ringette Fair Play Philosphy and Codes for Players, Coaches, Parents and Spectators
As the new ringette season starts up, this can be stressful time for players, coaches, officials, and yes...you the parent!! The Montague Ringette Association would like to remind everyone to create a positive, healthy and fun environment for all involved in ringette!
Let's show respect for players, coaches, officials and the volunteers that make ringette happen in our province. One ringette mom summarized it as when "you" go to the rink, (shortened by the full posting at Cody Banks Arena, Charlottetown).
When "you" go to the rink as:
Parent, support your child
Coach, coach your team
Player, play the game
Ref, do your job
and remember to ask your player on the way home, did your child have fun today at the rink?

A number of our families have children in both sports - here is great information about Hockey Canada's Shared Respect initiative. It has the goal to educate and encourage greater respect between all participants in the game. Consider your role in showing respect for the game of hockey and all it's participants. FAIR PLAY CODE
